University festival concert
This year, the Japanese music club has held various events that had to be canceled due to the Corona disaster. We went on a one-day trip to Shiogama for a training camp, had a barbecue and fireworks display in the summer, and had lots of ensemble practice in our daily activities. The club members have been able to interact with each other more and become closer! The Japanese music club will be holding a concert featuring Japanese instruments. We will be performing on four different instruments: koto, shakuhachi, shamisen, and tsugaru shamisen. Although there are four types of instruments, the combination of instruments can create various sound atmospheres. We will be performing a variety of music from gentle atmospheres to powerful ensemble pieces, so please be sure to come to Hagi Hall!
