Hello everyone! The Fair Trade Promotion Club amo, as the name suggests, is an official Tohoku University club that is working to promote Fair Trade. Fair trade is an activity to promote fair trade with a fair price that is equal to the labor and cost in order to solve the problem that producers in developing countries are forced to work hard and live in poverty because they do not receive a fair price for their products. Fair trade products include a variety of items such as coffee, chocolate, and fabric products such as bags and clothes. At the Tohoku University Festival, we are selling these fair trade products under the title of “Fair Trade Museum.” Please feel free to take a look! We also have an exhibition introducing fair trade and our activities, so please take a look at it too.
