Tohoku University insect museum！2023
Hello! We are the Insect Research Club. We will be exhibiting our members’ collections of insect specimens, as well as the insects we collect and breed. Beetles, stag beetles, butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies, caddisflies, gentoo, aquatic stinkbugs, spiders, etc…you can see a wide variety of insects (+α) in person. Members of the public will also be on hand to provide explanations. We would like to share with you the academic interest of insects through our knowledge of their characteristics and ecology! We aim to create an event that is not only fun to look at, but also allows visitors to experience the depth of insects. Some of our members are doing specialized research at graduate schools, and others are knowledgeable people who have been working with insects for many years. There are sure to be stories that you can only hear here. Please take this opportunity to come and join us! Let’s all get into the swamp of insects!
