Recorder mini concert
Hello, this is Recorder Circle. We will be holding a mini concert of recorders again this year. Most of you may have only a “Pythagorean” image of the recorder. Or perhaps you think of it as a common instrument that everyone has played in elementary and junior high school, but has never been seen since then. However, the world of the recorder is deeper and more expressive than you might imagine. The concert will feature four or five pieces from the classical Baroque repertoire as well as contemporary pop music. We will not only have the familiar soprano recorders and altricorders, but also some ghostly big ones (that’s an exaggeration) and some recorders as small as a baby. We hope to see many of you there!
