WHITE PAPER military history study 2023
We, the Military History Research Group at Tohoku University have been engaged in research in a wide range of fields, including history, military affairs, and society. Our research covers a wide range of regions in history, including Europe and Japan, and all periods from ancient times to the present day. In our event, “Military History Research Institute White Paper 2023,” we will present the results of our members’ daily research through poster and presentation style presentations. In addition to the presentations, there will also be an exhibition of books, models, and other materials related to history and military affairs owned by our members, as well as a “graphic exercise” that reproduces actual battles on a desk. In recent years, many people are interested in military affairs, history, and society amidst the rapidly changing international situation. We believe that our event “Military History Institute White Paper 2023” will provide an opportunity to deepen the interest of such people, and we invite you to visit our event.
