In the Calligraphy Club, we mainly practice to improve our calligraphy skills and create works for exhibitions that are held several times a year. For us, works of art are one of the results of our activities, and exhibitions are an important place for us to present the results of our activities. This year again, we are exhibiting a variety of works of calligraphy, including calligraphy based on Chinese and Japanese classics as models, as well as creative works, in which the students choose the subject matter and write in any style and expression they wish. Many people think “I don’t understand calligraphy even if I look at it,” but please try to find a piece you like, even if it is only vaguely familiar to you. (If you find a work that you like, we would appreciate it if you could give us a brief comment. ) Whether you are an experienced calligrapher or someone who does not have the opportunity to experience calligraphy, we look forward to seeing you at the exhibition.
