What is supporting students with disabilities ?
Hi, we are Disability Service Office. We are working mainly to support students with disabilities to create a campus where everyone can learn regardless of their disabilities. For example, for students with hearing impairments, we use a speech recognition app to provide information security that characterizes and transmits the voice information of teachers and participants in class in real time. In addition, in order to help wheelchair users move, we have created a barrier-free map that describes steps, slopes, multi-purpose toilets, etc. on campus.
In addition to panel exhibitions on everyday activities, we have prepared a lot of participatory events such as experience sessions for information security for people with hearing disabilities, pseudo-experience sessions for visual impairments, and quizzes about disabilities.
