History of Tohoku University seen from Tohoku University press
The broadcasting club publishes 11 issues of “Tohoku University Shimbun” launched in 1966 every year, which is “the only certified student media on campus”. In the planning of the 75th Tohoku University Festival, 57 years from 1966 to 2023, when the “Tohoku University Shimbun” was republished. You can look back on the history and various articles of the Tohoku University and Tohoku University Festival in the three generations of Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa with the exhibition of the paper media “Tohoku University Shimbun”. In addition, we will also introduce the other side of newspaper production (interviews, article writing, paper editing, etc.) that active Tohoku university students do all with their own hands. It is a content that not only current students and graduates, but also parents and local people can enjoy it, so please stop by on the day of the school festival.
