NFJO Rg.Band is a band created to aim for higher quality performance within Tohoku University’s only big band circle NFJO. Some of the members have even participated in a national championship for University big bands, YAMANO BIG BAND JAZZ CONTEST. We will play different genres, not only standard jazz, but also latin, funk, and contemporary jazz. Our band is composed of two sections; horn section with saxophones, trombones, and trumpets, and rhythm section with piano, base, guitar, and drums. There are scenes where you can feel the pressure of the everyones synced sound, and also solo scenes of each instruments where you can enjoy the performers high skills. Even if you don’t usually listen to Jazz, this performance will definitely move you! Please come and listen! スタンダードジャズだけでなく、ラテン、ファンク、コンテンポラリージャズなど多様なジャンルの音楽を演奏します。本バンドは、サックス、トロンボーン、トランペットから成るホーンセクションと、ピアノ、ギター、ベース、ドラムから成るリズムセクションで構成されています。全員が一体となって音の圧を感じられる場面もあれば、各楽器のソロでは、演奏者の高い技術を感じられます。
